Residential project

La Chasse

La Chasse is a residential project by Ve Atelier.

The images focus on a bathroom and a few transitional details with the rest of the home. The palette is more muted than in Flagey or Ranunculus: grey, deep blue and aqua green create a more hushed atmosphere.

The ceiling as a feature of character

The moulded ceiling painted blue immediately draws the eye. Rather than neutralising this relief, the choice of colour makes it more present and turns the upper part of the room into an element of the composition.

Taking care over the junctions

The detail shots show the importance of transitions: coloured door, handle, parquet, speckled surface. These junctions are often less spectacular than a grand decorative gesture, but they contribute a great deal to the perception of a finished interior.

Evolving a room without erasing its existing details?

The project begins by identifying what deserves to be kept, accentuated or brought back into relation.
