Storage becomes interior architecture

Large almond-green storage units frame the fireplace and structure the living space. Their presence goes beyond storage alone: they give the wall a sense of scale, organise objects and books and create a coherent backdrop for the furniture.

The wooden surfaces and seafoam-green panelling carry this logic through into the details.

Showing the making, too

The gallery includes a view of the panelling while it was being painted. This image adds some depth to the story of the project: it shows a real stage of the work without needing to detail the full scope of the site.

Need storage that genuinely contributes to the project?

Built-in furniture can organise uses, sightlines and atmosphere all at once.
